Impacting people life in Business,
Sport, Schools and Communities
A great math tutor, or tutor in general, is one that can help the student understand the
question given to them, understand how to attack the question, and understand the
foundations of the topics given to them to help make sense and connections of other problems.
Mr. Aguilar, through his journey of graduating as an electrical engineer, his mind has naturally
molded to think logically – this can be seen when doing math problems or even having a simple
conversation. One way to explain it is like this: let’s say you are having a conversation when
explaining your thought process about a certain topic, math related or not, Mr. Aguilar has the
natural ability to sense whether what you say clicks or backs up your thought process. It’s like
when you take a photographer to scan the room to take pictures and they immediately notice
the complex and simple details in the room that can be adjusted (like whether a frame on the
wall is off by even the tiniest angle).
What people sometimes don’t realize is that, when studying to be an electrical engineer, and
when you’re doing it with intention, you literally learn how microprocessors and circuits work –
which is all about learning the connections and logic that goes behind a computer. Something
else that people don’t realize is that no matter how advanced our technology gets, the
foundation is still the same foundation that has existed since microprocessors and circuits
became a thing to build the computer. It is the same thing with math – no matter how complex
the problem may seem for a certain topic; the foundations don’t change.
The ability to navigate and not steer away from the foundation is one of Mr. Aguilar’s best
assets when teaching. And to complement this, Mr. Aguilar is one of the kindest and most
genuine souls that exists on the market – which is very rare to find based on my experience.
During the process of teaching, you may feel like he is a father figure or even a friend.
Regardless of this, I truly mean when I say that you cannot and will not go wrong by choosing
Mr. Aguilar as your math tutor – and life coach if you so choose to.
Mr. Aguilar, who is my Dad, was my mentor for math since I could remember, and I am so happy he did,
as I always did very well in math in Elementary, Middle School and High School.
