Sensei Rudy Aguilar started practicing Karate Do at the age of 17 years old (1983) in Valencia Venezuela, few months After being Bullied by an Adult. Today He is a Certified 3rd Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate Do, Director & Chief Instructor of Grace Karate Do which Dojo is located in Waterford Michigan. He first trained in Venezuela with Sensei Carlos Henriquez, 7th Degree Black Belt certified by the Venezuela Karate Do Federation www.fvkd.org.ve , and coach for Karate Do Venezuela Federation. Later  while  Sensei Rudy moved to USA  he started  to train first under Sensei  Oscar  Silvera,  Certified  5th  Degree  Black  Belt  then he started to train with  Sensei  Morris  Lawrence  III,  Certified  7th  Degree  Black  Belt  by  American  Japan  Karate  Association www.ajkai-usa.com with whom he reached his 2nd Dan in Black Belt. Since  2014 Sensei Rudy partnered with DOISHIKAI KARATE DO Venezuela which whom He obtained his 3rd Dan Black Belt under the guidance of Sensei Jose Angel Guerrero 7th Dan Certified.  Sensei Rudy  most  rewarding personal experience  as  Karateka Athlete  was  to  be  a  member  of  the  Karate Do Team  for  the  University  of  Carabobo who obtained the National championship in 1991 and where he personally obtained 3rd Place as part of the Sparring Team. Then  when he placed 2nd place in sparring during the National trial as he wanted to represent his native country Venezuela.  Most Recently in 2019 obtained 3rd Place In USA National in Family Kata Team with with his two daughters. Now Sensei Rudy biggest reward is to see how his students can progress and become better in every area of their life. Sensei Rudy is passion about his relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He also loves coaching, teaching and mentoring his students to become successful not only in Karate but more important in their life.
